Taittinger Brut Millesime 2006
Production
Taittinger uses the méthode champenoise for their champagne production. The Brut Millesime 2006 is composed of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir. Harvest began on September 7 and was spread out due to uneven fruit ripening. Much of the blend was from grand crus. Only first press juice was used. Taittinger Brut Millesime 2006 is aged 5 to 6 years on the lees prior to disgorgement.
