Best Brut Champagne and Sparkling Wine
The best champagne and sparkling wine selections are rated 95 or higher on a scale of 100. Ratings have been provided by Champagne 411, Wine Enthusiast, and Wine Spectator. The reports include reviews, ratings, tasting notes, retail price, and "when to drink" dates.
Our Selection Process
Our reports are compiled from the most popular brands available in North America. However, some may be difficult to find. All brands selected (with the exception of blanc de noirs) have been reviewed within the past three years.
This report is devoted to the brut sweetness level. Our Sweet Champagne report provides ratings and prices for labels that are sweeter than brut. They are a small part of champagne production, but provide a good option for certain occasions and for those who prefer a sweeter sparkling wine experience. They are significantly different and are discussed in a seperate report.

The following four price categories are represented in this report. As expected, none of the top labels are priced under $50.
