Tasting Notes
Appearance: Light yellow with very fine bubbles.
Aroma/bouquet: Citrus/lime with baked apple and grated ginger. Not as nutty as some vintages. Some smokiness and minerality.
Palate: Dry, crisp acidity. White raspberry, pear and lime with hints of biscuit. Smoky with good minerality. Creamy fine bead. Velvety mouthfeel. Lingering finish.
Additional comments: Fresh and smooth. Elegant to drink.
When to drink: This Louis Roederer Vintage 2006 Champagne is fine to drink now, but it will definitely improve and mellow with age. Drink now to 2022: best from 2014 to 2018.
