Tasting Notes
Appearance: Light gold with amber highlights. Lively fine beads and mousse.
Aroma/bouquet: Apple cobbler, caramel and hazelnut with citrus notes and fresh bread. As it unfolds, in the glass you can pick up subtle hints of chocolate.
Palate: Dry with crisp acidity. Well balanced. Apple, lemon, honeysuckle, brioche and minerality. Candied fruit and white chocolate tease the palate. Silky lingering finish.
Additional comments: Very nicely integrated. Elegant and refined with the classic flavors of a fine vintage Champagne.

Louis Roederer Vintage 2004
Production

Louis Roederer uses the Méthode champenoise for their champagne production. The Vintage 2004 blend is composed of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay (30% of the wine is matured in oak casks with weekly batonnage). No malolactic fermentation occurs.

Louis Roederer Vintage 2004 is matured for at least 4 years in the cellars before disgorgement. The dosagé of between 8 and 10 grams/liter is customized to complement each vintage. Vintage 2004 rests an additional 6 months after disgorgement.
