Tasting Notes
Appearance: Soft pink with salmon accents. Long lasting creamy bubbles.
Aroma/bouquet: Intense bouquet of strawberry, white peach and minerality, with citrus and ginger coming through as the champagne opens up.
Palate: Dry, crisp, well balanced. Notes of wild strawberry, dried cherry and subtle biscuit. Complex with lots to experience. Fine bubbles in the mouth and a lingering velvety finish.

Louis Roederer Rose' 2006
Production
Louis Roederer uses the Méthode champenoise for their champagne production. The Rose' 2006 blend is composed of 66% Pinot Noir and 34% Chardonnay (20% of the wines matured in oak with weekly batonnage). No malolactic fermentation occurs. The 2006 Vintage Rose' is created using the saignée method following cold skin-contact maceration which may last 5 to 8 days.
Rose' 2006 ages an average of 4 years in the cellars before disgorgement. The dosagé of between 8 and 10 grams/liter is fine-tuned for each vintage. It rests an additional 6 months after disgorgement.
