Tasting Notes
Appearance: Pale salmon with fine persistant bubbles.
Aroma/bouquet: Whiffs of gingerbread and seashore opening to wild strawberry.
Palate: Nice minerality along with raspberry, strawberry and citrus. Some orange zest and hazelnuts.
Additional comments: Complex and enjoyable. There are possibly other NV rosés that are equally as fine with potentially lower price points.
When to drink: This release of Bollinger Rose' Champagne is ready to drink now through 2017. Bollinger Rose' typically drinks best within 4 to 5 years of release.

Bollinger Rose'
Production

Bollinger uses the méthode champenoise for their champagne production. The Rose' is typically composed of 62% Pinot Noir and 14% Pinot Meuinier (5% to 6% of which is still red wine) with 24% Chardonnay. Over 85% of the grapes used for production are from grand and premier crus. Bollinger cellars their non vintage champagne a minimum of 30 months on lees (double the minimum legal requirement). Dosage ranges from 7 to 8 grams/liter.
