Laurent-Perrier Brut
Production

Laurent-Perrier uses the méthode champenoise for their champagne production. Non-vintage Brut is composed of 50% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 15% Pinot Meunier. Initial processing is in stainless steel tanks. Laurent-Perrier Brut is aged a minimum of 3 years on the lees (minimum legal requirement is 18 months). Magnums are aged an additional 1 to 2 years. Laurent-Perrier also includes additional aging in the cellars prior to shipment after disgorgement. Dosage varies with each disgorgement, but is generally around 10 grams per liter or less. Dosage amounts have gradually decreased in the last few years.
