Appearance: Light gold with green tints. Lots of fine persistent bubbles.
Aroma/bouquet: Peach, pear, apple, pastry, honey.
Palate: Lemon, apple, yellow/mirabelle plum, caramel, smoke on the finish.

Laurent-Perrier Brut Millesime 2002
Production
Laurent-Perrier uses the méthode champenoise for their champagne production. Brut Millesime 2002 is composed of 50% grand cru Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir. Only first press juice is used in the blend. The dosage varies according to disgorgement generally around 8 grams per liter. The bottles rest a minimum of 7 years on lees and magnums rest a minimum of 9 years on lees before disgorgement.
