Chandon Etoile Rose'
Production

Chandon uses the traditional method for their sparkling wine production. Chandon Etoile Rose' is matured for a minimum of 5 years on the lees before disgorgement. A percentage of still Pinot Noir is added before the secondary bottle fermentation providing the rich rose' color. For Chandon's Etoile Rose' the winemaking team is given freedom to incorporate select vintages from reserve and library wines. They are also free to determine the best vineyards from the various appellations in any given year. This freedom is intended to promote the creation of the best sparkling wine style possible. Some production years may include wines from one or two specific appellations such as Napa/Sonoma while other years may reach further (such as North Coast or California) to achieve the desired balance .
