Pol Roger Rich Demi-Sec
Production

Pol Roger uses the méthode champenoise for their champagne production. Rich Demi-Sec champagne is composed of approximately equal parts Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. The wine is never released until the youngest base wine is at least 3 years of age. Dosage is designed to provide a final sugar content of approximately 35 grams per liter. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures. All Pol Roger bottles are riddled entirely by hand. After final dosage, the wine rests in the cellars for a period of time to further develop before final market release.
