Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Rose' 2005
Production

Taittinger uses the méthode champenoise for their champagne production. The Comtes de Champagne Rose' 2005 is composed of 70% Pinot Noir from the Grand Crus of Montagne de Reims: Verzenay and Mailly-Champagne with 12% still red wine from Bouzy, and 30% Chardonnay from the Grand Crus of Cote des Blancs. No Pinot Meunier is used in the blend. There is no oak aging. Only first press juice is used in the blend and it was aged 7 to 8 years on the lees before disgorgement.
