Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Rose' 2003
Production
Taittinger uses the méthode champenoise for their champagne production. The Comtes de Champagne Rose' 2003 is composed of 70% Pinot Noir from the Grand Crus of Montagne de Reims (including 12% still red wine) and 30% Chardonnay from the Grand Crus of Cote des Blancs. Only first press juice is used in the blend. Prior to the mid 1990's Taittinger used 100% Pinot Noir in the blend, but elected to incorporate Chardonnay since 1995. No Pinot Meunier is used.
