Louis Roederer Brut Premier
Production

Louis Roederer uses the Méthode champenoise for their champagne production. The Brut Premier blend is composed of 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Meunier. 5% of wines are matured in oak casks with weekly batonnage. 10% of reserve wines are matured in casks. Partial malolactic fermentation occurs. This non-vintage champagne is a blend of 6 years of harvesting, a part of which comes from the Louis Roederer reserve wine collection, aged in oak casks for several years.

Louis Roederer Brut Premier is matured for 3 years in the cellar before disgorgement. The dosagé of between 10 and 11 grams/liter is adapted to each bottling. Brut Premier rests for 6 months after disgorgement.
