Appearance: Pale yellow with fairly lively bead, faded slightly.
Aroma/bouquet: Lemon, fresh pastry, hazelnut, coconut. Minerality with smoky notes.

Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Brut 2004
Production
Veuve Clicquot uses the méthode champenoise for their champagne production. The Brut 2004 is composed of 62% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay and 8% Pinot Meunier. Grapes were harvested between September 23 and October 13 from 17 to 21 Grand and Premier Crus. Veuve Clicquot ages their vintage champagne a minimum of 5 years on lees with a dosage of 6 to 9 grams per liter. Veuve Clicquot was one of the first Champagne Houses to promote sustainable viticulture among its grape growers.
