Veuve Clicquot Rose'
Production

Veuve Clicquot uses the méthode champenoise for their champagne production. The Rose' is composed of 50 to 55% Pinot Noir and 15-20% Pinot Meunier (of which 12% is still red wine from several vineyards) and 28-33% Chardonnay. The blending of red wine with white helps provide consistency in color and flavor. The champagne blend of approximately 70 crus including an average 33% reserve wines up to 20 years old. The dosage is between 9 and 11 grams/liter. The champagne is aged an average of 30 months on lees.
