Appearance: Medium pink color with copper highlights. Very fine lively bubbles.
Aroma/bouquet: Wild strawberries, pear, watermelon, some yeasty and chalky notes.
Palate: Creamy texture with strawberries, raspberries, brioche, almonds. Hints of grapefruit. Nice minerality.

Veuve Clicquot uses the méthode champenoise for their champagne production. The Rose' 2002 is composed of 60% Pinot Noir (of which 15% is red wine from the Bouzy vineyard), 33% Chardonnay and 7% Pinot Meunier. The blend includes wine from 17 grand and premier crus.
