Tasting Notes
Appearance: Bright salmon, seashell color with lots of light fine bubbles.
Aroma/bouquet: Brioche, strawberries, raspberries with some notes of citrus and minerality.
Palate: Dry and crisp. Full rich flavors of ripe strawberries and cranberries with biscuit notes and hints of pink grapefruit. Elegant creamy bubbles and a lingering finish.
Additional comments: Many flavors and textures add to the enjoyment of this Champagne. Complex, balanced and enticing.
When to drink: This Louis Roederer Rose' 2004 Champagne is a real delight and is paying back nicely after some time in the bottle. This Champagne is ready to drink now – 2016:

Louis Roederer Rose' 2004
Production

Louis Roederer uses the Méthode champenoise for their champagne production. The Rose' 2004 blend is composed of 66% Pinot Noir and 34% Chardonnay (20% of the wines matured in oak with weekly batonnage). No malolactic fermentation occurs. The 2004 vintage Rose' is created using the saignée method following cold skin-contact maceration which may last 5 to 8 days.

Rose' 2004 ages an average of 4 years in the cellars before disgorgement. The dosagé of between 8 and 10 grams/liter is customized for each vintage. Rose' Vintage rests an additional 6 months after disgorgement.
