Tasting Notes
Appearance: Bright pale salmon with very fine flowing bubbles.
Aroma/bouquet: Limestone minerality with strawberry, cherry and raspberry mingling with orange zest and white peach. Subtle notes of bread dough.
Palate: Dry, fresh and crisp with elegant minerality. Flavors of strawberry and cranberry with subtle lemon and dried fruit. Silky and full bodied with a lingering finish.

When to drink:This Louis Roederer Cristal Rosé 2004 Champagne will be ready to drink in 2014 – 2020.

Cristal Rose' 2004
Production
Louis Roederer uses the Méthode champenoise for their Cristal Rose' 2004 Champagne production. The blend is composed of 60% Pinot noir and 40% Chardonnay (20% of the wines vinified in oak casks with weekly batonnage). No malolactic fermentation occurs. Cristal Rose' is created using the saignée method after cold maceration that can last 5 to 8 days in the liquid phase.
Cristal Rose' 2004 ages an average of 6 years in the cellars before disgorgement. The dosagé of between 8 and 10 grams/liter is customized to complement each vintage. It rests an additional 8 months after disgorgement.
