Bollinger La Grande Année 2004
Production

Bollinger uses the méthode champenoise for their champagne production. La Grande Année 2004 is composed of 66% Pinot Noir and 34% Chardonnay. Sixteen crus were used consisting of 88% grand crus and 12% premier crus. It was aged on lees for a mimimum of 6 years (at least twice the minimum legal requirement) and is given a dosage of 7 to 8 grams per liter. Bollinger completely vinifies and ages their vintage cuvées in barrels.
