Piper Heidsieck Brut
Production
Piper Heidsieck uses the méthode champenoise for their champagne production. The non-vintage brut is typically composed of about 55% Pinot Noir, 15% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Meunier. 10 to 15% reserve wines are added to the blend. Wines from specific crus and grape varieties are all vinified separately after harvest. The wine is aged on the lees for a minimum of 2 years prior to disgorgement and receives a dosage of 11 grams per liter. |
