Laurent-Perrier Grand Siecle

Laurent-Perrier uses the méthode champenoise for their champagne production. Grand Siecle is composed of Approximately 55% Chardonnay and 45% Pinot Noir from 11 grand cru villages. Initial fermentation is in stainless steel tanks. Bottles rest on the lees for a minimum of seven to eight years and magnums rest an additional two years. Laurent-Perrier adheres to the belief that the best champagne, the prestige cuvee, does not need to be from a single vintage. For the production of Grand Siecle, Laurent-Perrier blends three of the very best vintages from the very best crus to maintain consistency and excellence. Dosage varies but generally is about 8 grams per liter.
